Description : Death came with startling suddenness to Mrs. Howard Robson on Tuesday morning of last week. Mrs. Robson had been about her home, doing the customary household tasks, and had been out to the garage to speak to her husband, apparently feeling as usual. A few minutes later she came to the door and called to him to come quickly and told him she felt very strange. He got her to lie down, and because she was cold, went for a heating pad but she passed away before anything could be done.Mrs. Robson, whose maiden name was Evelyn Reevie, was born in Oro Township and spent her early life there.Mr. and Mrs. Robson came to Bradford in 1931 and have resided here continuously since that time. A quiet lady, Mrs. Robson devoted her time to her home and her family. She was a member of Bradford Presbyterian Church.Mrs. Robson is survived by her husband, Howard; three sons and two daughters, namely, J. Alvin, of Tonawanda, N.Y.; Garnet of Aurora; Mrs. Henry Bell (Phyllis) of Bradford; Mrs. Robt. Veale (Shirley) of Scarborough; and Budd of Bradford. There are also eight grandchildren.Mrs. Robson's death is a very personal loss to her family to whom she was a most devoted and kindly mother, and among whom her absence will be felt very keenly. The funeral was held on Thursday from the Lathangue-Kilkenny Funeral Home, with interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Mr. L. B. Williams had charge of the service. The pallbearers were six nephews, namely, Austin Kendall, Jack Kendall, Leigh Reevie, Brian Reevie, all of Shanty Bay, Jack Laikin of Toronto and John Reevie of Barrie.
