Scope and content

Bradford Fire Chief Harold Boyd explains how a resuscitator works during open house at the fire hall last week. Tara Lund (centre), 6, of Barrie Street, and Jason Doeler, 4, and Gregory Doeler, 3, of Luxury Avenue were among the visitors who saw life-saving equipment on display and had a chance to speak to members of the town's volunteer firefighting brigade. Pamphlets outlining good safety practices were also distributed. This photo was found in the Bradford Women's Institute Scrapbooks.
