Description : Peacefully at Faith Manor, Holland Christian Homes, Brampton, in his 88th year. Of the Holland Marsh. Husband of Elze Van Hemert and the late Nelly Van Hemert. Father of John and his wife Jean of Vancouver, B.C., Harry and his wife Ginny of Schomberg, Alex and his wife Rin of Newmarket, Sara and her husband Adrian Van Luyk of the Holland Marsh, Irene and her husband John Vander Steen of London, Ontario, Nelly and her husband Hugh Van Dyke of Guelph, Audrey and her husband John Schenk of Orillia, Christine and her husband Cor Buikema of Georgetown, Jim and his wife Janet of the Holland Marsh. Also survived by 30 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren and predeceased by grandchildren Sharon Vander Steen and Nancy Riegert. Visitation at the Lathangue & Skwarchuk Funeral Home, Bradford. Services will be held at the Holland Marsh Christian Reformed Church, Ansnorveldt. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford.
