Description : Passed away peacefully at home in Dunchurch in his 69th year. Husband of the late Mary (Wren) van Ry. Son of the late Jacob and Tina van Ry and son-in-law of Ena Wren of Dunchurch and the late Christopher. Father of James and Donna, both of Bradford; Jana and her husband Paul Thompson of Lakefield; Judy and her husband Peter Harway of Dunchurch; Marianne Smith of Tottenham; and Mark of Toronto. Grandfather of Joshua, Amanda, Jacob and Caleb van Ry; Vaughan, Jamie and Christopher Thompson; Meaghan McClymont, Zachary and Hilary Jane Harway; and Scott Smith. Brother of Enny DeBest of Bradford and the late Casey and Gary. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Rested in the Logan Funeral Home, Parry Sound. Interment in Hillcrest Mausoleum and Fairholme Cemetery, Dunchurch in the spring.
