Description : Died at home in Toronto. Son of the late John Walsh and Julia Dumphy, who settled the homestead on the 11th line in Tecumseth, where he lived until the last two years of his life. Wife of Alice Mooney of Bradford, whom he married in 1887. Father of Alice (Mrs. Philip Keogh of Colgan), Lucy (Sister Mary Alice of St. Joseph's Convent, Toronto), Julia (Mrs. Thomas Beale, 100 Sheldrake Blvd, Toronto), and John (living on the old homestead). Predeceased by his eldest daughter, Mamie (Mrs. B. Holland), five years previous. Grandfather of thirteen and great-grandfather of five. Member of Holy Martyrs Church, Bradford, the Holy Name Society, and the Bradford Hunt Club. Funeral service Monday, March 28, from his residence at 100 Sheldake Blvd. to St. Monica's Church. Mass by Rev. M. Bolan of Bradford, assisted by Rev. John Bolger as Deacon, and Rev. James Hayes as Sub-Deacon. Pallbearers Daniel McDermott, Herbert Beale, William Beale, Thomas O'Hara, Ambrose Foran and William Moriarty. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery, Rev. M. Bolan officiating.
