Two parts of Hurricane hazel interviews. Part One is an interview with many residents’ accounts of Hurricane Hazel. Specifying different memories on Bradford’s assistance to other towns, and the recovery effort. Part Two is an interview specifically with Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Evans recounting their experiences with Hurricane Hazel.

Digitized versions of old audio tapes, which include various interviews conducted with residents of Bradford West Gwillimbury. They are comprised of various interesting stories on everyday life in Bradford and surrounding areas over the past century.
Accompanying these recordings are written transcripts outlining each conversation in detail. Due to the age of the tapes, the sound quality of some may be a bit poor. These transcripts are provided to facilitate listening and complement the audio recording. All of these transcripts have been compiled into a book, which we have catalogued for anyone interested in reading them in a collected format.

Anglican Church - Holland Landing

A sketch of the Holland Landing Anglican Church as it appeared in the Holland Landing Scope. The caption read: "The Holland Landing Anglican Church is a landmark in that community, as represented here in a sketch by Simon Limbert. The community was officially named in 1821 when the first post office was established. The church was constructed in 1850 from materials taken from an older building.

They stretch back to the earliest days of British settlement when in 1791 General Frederick Haldimand, Canada's Governor-in-Chief, assigned his Surveyor-General to do a survey of the Lake Simcoe area. Although a British army officer, the man was Dutch-born and by coincidence was named Samuel Johannes Holland." ...
