D.G. Bevan Insurance Brokers, Ltd.

The building of the D.G. Bevan Insurance Brokers, Ltd. at 61 Holland Street West. This building currently houses the Hearing Sciences Audiology and Hearing Aid Centre. It was built in the 1880s by Mark Scanlon Jr., son of the one of the town founders Mark Scanlon, to house the Scanlon Law Offices in a Romanesque revival architecture style. His son Albert was also a lawyer for the Town.

Dr. Lewis Campbell House

This is the house of Dr. Lewis Campbell at 33 John St. East. It was built in 1900, and many of the details within the house are still original. A roof skylight, balcony infill above the porch, and the entrance stairs and railing have all been modified.

Dr. Lewis Campbell was a second generation of the Scottish Campbells and was well known in Town. See the Related Descriptions for more information on Dr. Campbell.

Bradford's First Post Office

This is Bradford's first building solely dedicated to a Post Office, built in 1936 at 22 Barrie Street. It was designed by Gordon S. Adamson, and contracted by J. Saint of Bradford. Prior to this, the post office was housed in a shared building on Holland Street on the current day Century 21 parking lot.
